Volume statistics -- Attribute that returns statistical properties
Description
This attribute returns the statistical property, specified in Output statistic, of the input data or attribute. The input values are collected from a cube (rectangle) or cylinder (ellipsoid) around the reference point defined by parameters: time-gate, Shape, and Inl/Crl stepout.
Depending on the requested type of statistical property, the Volume statistics attribute can give more insight in various type of structures. For example, the Minimum of the Similarity attribute is, in general, a very useful attribute for Chimney Detection. Another example of the usefulness of statistics is the Variance of the Polar Dip Angle, which, depending on the data-set, enhances faults.
