The latest OpendTect version features several new functionalities such as multi-attribute displays on inlines, crosslines, random lines and on horizons, a small toolbar in which the inline/crossline position can be shifted and the new fingerprint attribute. It also features a stable version of the Sequence Stratigraphic Interpretation System (SSIS) plugin and a full spectrum of tracking capabilities. |

Addax Petroleum Services will sponsor the development of a multiple removal capability through prediction error filtering (gap decon). The new filter will become part of the open source system (OpendTect Base) and is planned for release in Q306. Addax website

dGB has released Stable Release 2.2.3 of OpendTect. New features are:
More attributes are multi-threaded, horizon attributes are now
calculated on real position in stead of nearest sample and plugin
selection at startup.

At the AAPG 2006 annual convention in Houston, dGB will preview SSIS (Sequence Stratigraphic Interpretation System). This OpendTect plugin allows seismic data to be flattened (Wheeler transformed) in chrono-stratigraphic time, and allows subsequent system tract analysis. More... |

dGB has released Stable Release 2.2.2 of OpendTect. It features new functionalities that are part of the OUF project (OpendTect User Friendliness). Added functionalities are: Shortcuts for moving inlines/crosslines/timeslices, Move elements in tree, Display color/colortable pixmaps in tree, Gridlines on inlines/crosslines/timeslices, Create RandomLines through welltracks, and Create own welltracks. |
